Join The Difference Engine for Engineering Change, a virtual speaker series where we explore how exemplary individuals overcome social, political and economic challenges as well as how leaders and experts solve some of the country’s most challenging structural inequality problems.
This month we’re delighted to speak with Jeremy Ney, who works in privacy at Google and is the author of American Inequality, an outlet that explores the biggest social issues of our time through data and maps, cutting across inequalities on housing, healthcare, education, jobs, tech, and policy.
This speaker series is made possible through the generous support of the Ford Foundation.
Jeremy is the author of American Inequality and a professor who teaches at the intersection of data science, economics, and policy. He was previously a macro strategist at the Federal Reserve and currently works at Google focused on technology policy and open-web initiatives.
